Yesterday at our track session, I noticed I pushed some fluid out of PS reservoir. It's happened before and just figured it was due to the heat and strain. Ended the day after I went out for the 2nd session and noticed how heavy the steering was and how much vibration was coming through the steering wheel with the car parked and turning the wheels. Driving seems fine. Not sure if I cooked the vanes or internals or if the stickier tires were just causing more strain on the pump. I rebuilt the pump with all new seals, bearing and shaft just over a year ago to fix the leak. All hoses have been replaced as well. My plan at this point is to drain and switch to a high quality ATF and re-assess. Anyone burned up a pump from track use? Or have suggestions? No leaks anywhere, fluid level is still perfect. 94+ PS pump/electric HICAS. Kuhmo Ecsta XS 225/40 tires.
